Shut off the lights, grab the popcorn, and get ready to dig in…Creepshow Season 4 is set to drop just in time for spooky season! Creepshow had three exceptionally fun and nostalgic seasons over the past four years, and Season 4 is looking to keep that tradition intact. Every October, I enjoy a day to myself, doing nothing but watching the series. Becoming a reboot of one of horror’s greatest anthologies is no small task, especially when George A. Romero and Stephen King spearheaded the original. Creepshow, the series, managed to incorporate what was special about the film while also finding its own legs to stand on.

Thankfully, we have been graced with a trailer for Season 4 to tide us over until October 13th. Visually, the trailer shows us they have not diverted from the mixture of beautiful, practical effects and comically fun digital enhancements that the series has become known for. This trailer has it all: aliens, contortionists, giant hairy creatures, split diopter death falls, winged gargoyle-like creatures, and Tom freaking Atkins! While the trailer for Season 4 only gives us a glimpse into the madness to come, I know I’m hooked already. I’m curious to see if there are any more special guests throughout the season, but if Tom Atkins is the peak guest, then I am entirely content with that.

The previous three seasons have taken us down many different dark paths, spinning goopy and weird tales to feast our eyes on. On top of the creepy stories, we have been graced with many wonderful and surprising guests. We’ve had Giancarlo Esposito and Tobin Bell in “Gray Matter,” C. Thomas Howell in “Dead and Breakfast,” Kid Cudi and Jeffrey Combs in “Bad Wolf Down,” Kevin Dillon in “Model Kid,” Molly Ringwald in “Sibling Rivalry,” and Ryan Kwanten in “The Right Snuff” just to name a few. My favorite guest and episode is, hands down, David Arquette in “Times is Tough in Musky Holler,” a truly underrated piece of horror in my mind.

Creepshow, the hit horror anthology series, is executive produced by showrunner Greg Nicotero. Creepshow season four will debut on Shudder, AMC+, and AMC on Friday, October 13th, with a six-episode binge premiere on Shudder and AMC+ and new episodes airing weekly at 10:00 pm ET/9c on AMC linear.
