Til Death Do Us Part Trailer Promises an Action-Packed Riff on Ready or Not

Have you ever wondered what you’d get if you combined the fast-paced action of a martial arts film with the horror sensibilities of Ready or Not? I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that you haven’t, and I don’t blame you. Before now, I had never really thought about that either. It’s just not a combination that ever crossed my mind, but that all changed when I saw the trailer for Til Death Do Us Part.

Til Death Do Us Part is an action horror film about a bride-to-be who decides at the last minute that she doesn’t want to go through with the wedding, but unfortunately for her, it’s going to take a bit more than just running away to get out of this relationship. Her fiancé is dead set on marrying her, so he and his seven groomsmen will do whatever it takes to find her and bring her back to him.

While that plot synopsis is admittedly a bit vague, the trailer for Til Death Do Us Part more than makes up for it. Apparently, everybody in this movie, including the bride-to-be, is a highly skilled fighter, so this isn’t the typical cat-and-mouse game you’d expect from a film like this. Sure, the premise definitely has that kind of feel to it, but the execution appears to be more akin to an action film.

And let me tell you, it looks amazing. The bits and pieces of fight scenes we see in this trailer are awesome, so if the full feature is even half as good, we’re in for one hell of a ride. It seems like Til Death Do Us Part is going to give us the best of both the action and horror worlds, so I, for one, absolutely can’t wait to see it.

Til Death Do Us Part is set to hit theaters nationwide on August 4.
