Project Gemini Trailer Teases a Beautiful Alien Mystery

How many times have you watched a trailer and then felt like it showed so much you don’t need to watch the actual movie? I’m sure it’s happened to all of us multiple times, so I’m happy to let you know that the trailer for Project Gemini is pretty much the antithesis of that problem.

In this film, the earth has been sucked dry of its resources so the human race has to find a new home elsewhere in the cosmos. A group of people from multiple countries travels to outer space to look for a suitable new planet, but when their expedition doesn’t go as planned, they find themselves stuck on an alien world with a mysterious and malevolent entity.

As I said, the Project Gemini trailer doesn’t spoil much of anything, and that’s just the way I like it. All we see are a strange goo the monster leaves behind as well as one brief shot of what looks like a tentacle, but beyond that, we have absolutely no idea what this thing is or what it might want. It’s a complete mystery, and I’m already hooked. I really want to learn more about this creature so I’m counting down the days until I finally get to see this movie.

But don’t get the wrong idea, this trailer isn’t all mystery. It does tell us a few things about the film, and they just pump me up even more. In particular, it promises some awesome cinematography and a whole bunch of really cool visuals, and that gets me super excited. Not only are those elements really important in themselves, but they also give me hope that the horror will be just as good. If the filmmakers behind Project Gemini can deliver on those two fronts, I have faith they’ll deliver the horror goods too.

When you put this all together, you get one hell of a trailer, so I absolutely can’t wait to see Project Gemini. And thankfully, the wait isn’t going to be too long. The film hits VOD, DVD, and Blu-ray on March 15, so it’ll be here before you know it.
