On the 3rd Day Is Coming to Blu-ray and DVD This March!

I have some amazing news that I’m super excited to share with you guys. On the 3rd Day, one of my absolute favorite movies from the Fantasia International Film Festival last year is finally getting a home video release in the United States. Scream Factory will be releasing it on Blu-ray and DVD on March 29, and it’s no exaggeration to say that this news made my whole day.

A captive woman looking scared

On the 3rd Day is about a woman named Cecilia who gets into a car accident while driving with her son, and when she wakes up three days later, her son is nowhere to be found. She can’t remember what happened or where her son might have gone, so after she recovers her strength, she goes looking for him. Her search puts her on a collision course with a strange religious man who looks like he’s clearly going to be the villain of the film, but by the time the credits roll, you’ll realize that there’s way more to this story than you could’ve ever guessed.

That brief synopsis may sound a bit vague, but trust me, it’s for the best. This story takes some really unexpected twists and turns, so I’d be remiss if I said anything more. On the 3rd Day is a wild ride that will keep you guessing from beginning to end, and when you finally learn what’s really going on, it’s a total shocker.

Simply put, this is one of the best movies I saw in 2021, so I’m absolutely elated that it’s finally going to be available to a wider audience here in the states. I know I’m planning on buying it the day it comes out, and if you’re looking for some good new horror to watch, I’d highly recommend giving On the 3rd Day a shot. You won’t be disappointed.
