No One Will Save You Trailer Promises Genuinely Terrifying Aliens

I think aliens are some of the coolest horror monsters around. Since we don’t know what’s out there in the vast reaches of space, aliens can be anything from amorphous blobs to sophisticated hunters and everything in between. So naturally, when I first heard about the upcoming alien film No One Will Save You, I couldn’t wait to check out the trailer. I was eager to find out what kind of monsters this movie would feature, and let me tell you, if this two-minute preview is any indication, these aliens are going to be amazing.

Plot details are being kept largely under wraps, but according to the official plot synopsis, No One Will Save You is an action-packed story about a young woman named Brynn who comes face to face with a group of aliens that “threaten her future while forcing her to deal with her past.” Admittedly, I’m not entirely sure what that entails, but I don’t really care. The No One Will Save You Trailer is so good I’m already sold, so I don’t need to know the minutiae of the story.

In particular, I love how creepy this trailer is. For me, aliens usually tend to be more fun than scary, but this film appears to be one of the few exceptions. These extraterrestrials are genuinely terrifying, and the scares in this trailer are executed to perfection.

In fact, the scares are so good I can’t pick out just one moment to highlight. This entire trailer is an absolute masterclass in horror filmmaking, so everything in it, from the initial cat-and-mouse game with Brynn to the giant spider-esque creature that chases her at the end, makes me think No One Will Save You might be one of the best and scariest horror movies of the year.

No One Will Save You is set to come out via Hulu on September 22.
