Your favorite killers are headed to the beach! Hooked On You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim has been announced during the Dead by Daylight 6th Anniversary Livestream, releasing this summer on Steam.
WELCOME TO MURDERERS ISLAND, the website declares, where you can meet up with four dead-sexy Killers looking for love. Will you be the one to win over their heart, or lose your own in the process?
The included dateable Killers are The Trapper, The Huntress, The Wraith, and The Spirit. Each character has multiple endings depending on your choices, from true love to platonic friendships and utter loathing. They’ve all been given a hip Summer makeover, with The Trapper sporting a striped one-piece swimsuit on the cover showing off his massive muscles.
An official website for the Dating Sim was unveiled alongside the announcement, where you can signup for email updates, reveals, and details on the game.
Also showcased during the Livestream were future QOL changes to the game, including a new progression system created to reduce grinding. Close to 40 perks, including the meta, will also receive changes. Funko Pop figures were also shown off: The Wraith, The Doctor, The Huntress, and Survivor Claudette Morel, which will be available before the end of the year.
The next update, titled Roots of Dread, will release on June 7th and include a new Killer called The Dredge, which appears to be a sludgy pile of bodies melted together, and a new Survivor named Haddie Kaur.
A chapter with the popular Capcom zombie series titled Dead By Daylight: Resident Evil: Project W is slated for sometime in 2022.
Finally, a collaboration with the anime Attack on Titan was shown off, with costumes for both Killers and Survivors. More details will be shown at a later date.
