Exclusive Clip from Everybody Dies by the End Showcases Loads of Blood and Charm

Usually when you watch a preview clip from an upcoming horror movie, you get a sneak peek of the scares the film has in store for us. For example, you might catch a glimpse of the monster, or maybe you’ll see how the movie is going to slowly build the tension in anticipation of its jump scares. But this time, we have something a bit different for you. We’re bringing you an exclusive clip from Everybody Dies by the End, and even though the clip doesn’t show us any real horror, I still think it’s pretty intriguing.

Everybody Dies by the End is about a beloved genre director named Alfred Costella who returns to make one last all-practical shocker with what’s being described as “a dark twist.” He also brings on a documentary crew to accompany the film’s production and cover it from start to finish, and if I had to guess, I’d say this crew probably gets a bit more than they bargained for.

That plot synopsis is admittedly pretty vague, but given the movie’s title, it’s not too hard to guess what’s going to happen. It’s basically an open secret, so I suspect that the story isn’t going to be the main draw here. Instead, the real star of this show is most likely the execution, and luckily for us, our exclusive clip gives us a little taste of what to expect on that front.

For starters, it’s super bloody, and I think that’s significant. Granted, it’s not real blood (in the world of the story, that is; of course it’s not real blood), but if Everybody Dies by the End is willing to go that hard on the fake movie gore, I think it’s safe to say that the film is also going to have heaps of real blood and gore as well.

What’s more, it also shows us just how charismatic its main character is. Alfred Costella is played by Vinny Curran, and if you’re a hardcore horror fan, you’ve probably seen his face before. He also stars in Benson and Moorhead’s fantastic debut Resolution, and from the looks of it, he hasn’t lost a single step. He’s just as loveable as ever, so his presence alone makes me really interested to see how this movie turns out.

Everybody Dies by the End is set to hit VOD worldwide on September 22.
