Scream a Little Dream 2, the follow up to the 2025 Indie 3D Horror, is now in pre-production. The film has a new cast and story but follows on the themes of the first film. A 4 minute 3-D Proof of Concept has already been shot. This Proof of Concept will have it’s debut at Late Shift at the Grindhouse in Iowa City this Spring.
The story for Scream a Little Dream 2 is based off an unfinished 1998 film called I Was a Teenage Dormitory Psycho. It tells the story of Sheila Curtis, whose mother was killed 20 years ago by notorious serial killer Howard Franks. Now Sheila is suffering from nightmares about Franks stalking her. Little does she know, but Franks is out there, being hunted by a psychiatrist and a reporter. It all leads up to a terrifying finale.
The film will star Campbell O’Hare, Leah Kathleen Getz, Danielle Harper, T.J. Doyle and Don Manigly. O’Hare was originally slated to play the first film’s heroine Jessica. Getz, playing O’Hare’s long dead mother, played the part of Marie in the 2020 short version of the first film. T.J. Doyle and Don Manigly were in the first film but are playing different characters in this entry.
Like the first film, it will be in true stereoscopic 3-D. The 3-D will be in the style of an 80s 3-D movie. Most specifically, elements of the film throw back to slashers like Silent Madness.
A Kickstarter for the movie is now active at Scream a Little Dream 2 in 3-D by T.J. Moore — Kickstarter
